Sarah is Managing Principal of Hayball, an award-winning national architecture, urban design, and interiors practice.
She is a practice leader in social and affordable housing with over 20 years’ experience in the design and delivery of significant mixed tenure housing projects for the public, community housing, and private sector.
Strategic and advisory roles have been central to Sarah’s practice, helping to shape design-led housing and urban design policy.
Sarah is a Life Fellow of the Australian Institute of Architects and the Chair of the Victorian Chapter Housing Committee, advocating for sustainable, equitable and well-connected communities. She was awarded the 2025 AIA Victorian President’s Prize for her policy work shaping solutions that embed dignity, quality, and social value within housing delivery.
