Dr Jefa Greenaway FRAIA MDIA AILA (Affiliate)Jefa is a founding Director of Greenaway Architects (est. 1998), a registered architect in NSW, and Victoria and an Adjunct Industry Fellow at Swinburne University, and an Honorary Fellow of Design at Deakin University.

Current projects include the 240 bed UTS National First Nations College, winner 2024 WAFX Cultural Identity awards, the Garma Institute in North East Arnhem Land, and Yaitya Ngutu Wardli at Adelaide University. He also serves on the State Design Review Panels in both NSW and Victoria, since 2019 and was a co-author of the award winning International Indigenous Design Charter and was on the inaugural Ministerial advisory board for Homes Victoria (2021-2025), supporting the 5.3B Big Housing Build, building upon his work with Aboriginal Housing Victoria (AHV) in developing their first Indigenous Design Principles.

He was a 2020 Design Institute of Australia’s ‘Hall of Fame’ inductee, signifying an outstanding contribution to Australian design. In addition, he was named in the 'Qantas 100 Inspiring Australians' and received the 2023 INDE.Award special prize 'the Luminary' recognising excellence in a career in design which celebrates industry icons. Further, Jefa was recently honoured for his pioneering efforts in Indigenous-led architecture and education, becoming a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Architects.
